Ballinasloe Marina, circa 15.30 on Sunday, 27th March, 2011...

In preparation for the Cruising Club's CIC to Ballinasloe on the Easter weekend "Arthur" visited Ballinasloe on Sat/Sun, 26/27 March, 2011. Apart from what looked like some boats that may have been moored through the winter the harbour was empty!

  • Shannonbridge at circa 16.27 on Sunday, 27th March, 2011...<br /> <br /> After leaving Ballinasloe Harbour we headed to Shannonbridge to check out a possible 'Plan B' option in case access to Ballinasloe became impossible at Eeaster!<br /> <br /> Woiw! A packed harbour!
  • And on the innner side of the jetty boats are already rafted! 'Plan B' not looking good!
  • And Banagher Harbour at 18.18 on Sunday, 27th March 2011...<br /> <br /> After leaving Shannonbridge we headed for Banagher...what a contrast! An empty harbour apart from the narrowboat featured in the photo.<br /> <br /> A real tale of three harbours...all in the space of visits conducted over three hours on a single day!
