08:38... Arthur departs Lawrence Cove Marina as she begins the passage to Dingle. The forecast is unbelievably good, certainly for the earlier part of the trip. And we have planned to passage through Dursey Sound which will be a 'first' for us and another tick on our Bucket List!
Windguru weather forecast for Bolus Head (between Valentia and Dursey Head) for period 30th July - 8th August. Some heavy stuff coming in for the Bank Holiday weekend! Forecast for today is good... F3/F3 (wind and gusts) as we set out rising slightly to F3/F4 towards the end of the passage. But look at the forecast for 2nd - 4th August... and it actually gets worse! More later!
