  • Leaving Banagher behind us...we have to make Meelick Lock before 12.30. Winter Lock/Bridge opening times still apply (last lock 12.30) until March 14th...
  • Departing Banagher on Sunday morning and heading for Meelick Lock....a Panorama of Banagher Bridge.
  • What a glorious day...and not just for mid-February!
  • And the sun had come out and was beaming down on us as we headed for Meelick...Why can't summer days be like this?

  • Methinks that there's the basis of a painting here.
  • It's like camouflage...you have to look close to see the house!
  • And then a gap in the undergrowth and suddenly it appears.

  • Not a scene that I have shot before...I had to look twice before I recognised it when uploading it to the Photogallery. Meelick Quay (with Big White Steel Boat) in background as we enterd the channel for Meelick Lock.
