Rapport exits the lower chamber at Ardnacrusha.

  • Rapport at Ardnacrusha...
  • A relaxed John Ryan on-board his Princess 35, Rapport....
  • John was happy for Arthur to enter the upper chamber first.
  • Rapport make her entrance and John uses a boat hook to hold his boat in place priot to the descent through the upper chamber. Much easier to negotiate when you have a crew member to assist you.
  • Mary uses a single small rope around one of the long rubber coated chains to hold Arthur in place.
  • John makes it look easy....even single-handed!

  • And after a total transit time of approx. 45 mins the gate of the lower chamber opens...
