  • Friday, 8th July, 2011 We departed Athlone at 1pm and headed towards Clonmacnoise for a rendezvous with Trade Winds and her crew, Brendan & Rita O'Dowd.
  • The Viking tour boat that offers cruises either side of Athlone.
  • I love the way that some of the cow population along the navigation take an active interest in passing boats!
  • And another...
  • TnT (Tony Barry) at Clonmacnoise.
  • Trade Winds at Clonmacnoise. We arrived shortly after 2pm and Brendan & Tony helped us tie up.
  • Ellie of Trade Winds...The dog was originally called Nellie but Brendan & Rita were not too fond of the name and simply dropped the 'N'.... et voila, as the saying goes!
