  • Just beautiful...
  • So calm and peaceful...our engines disturbed the tranquility!
  • It was so calm that the clouds are clearly reflected in the still water...
  • Just enjoying the twilight setting....
  • What a lovely pastoral setting...
  • I just love the way the reeds change colour according to the season...
  • Difficult to believe that it is approximately 21.10hrs
  • Nearly there...
  • Circa 21.15 and we are almost there. And yes, it looks much darker than it actually was...
  • "Arthur" coming home... And believe it or not it is close to 21.30. What a contrast with the previous photo!

  • Barry shows off his newly restored dancing leg...all ready for the Lough Derg Rally.<br /> <br /> And so ended a fabulous seventeen days on "Arthur". We cruised in unfamiliar waters and discovered some fantastic locations including Tarmonbarry, Dromod, Drumsna, Carrick, Lough Key. And of course there were places that we did not get to visit, e.g. Carnadoe, Grange, Kilglass, Leitrim, Drumshanbo and Lough Allen. We were mostly blessed with good weather and calm waters.<br /> <br /> There is no doubt in our minds but that above Lanesboro represents super cruising waters with fabulous scenery and good berthing options. We will definitely be back......and it is likely to be sooner rather than later!<br /> <br /> And a special thanks to Conor Meegan for all his recommendations and general assistance.<br /> <br /> It was so nice to meet so many people who we knew through the IWAI Discussion Forum....great to be able to put faces to names!<br /> <br /> Paul,<br /> "Arthur"
