"Arthur" arrived at Parteen Weir on July 20th 2010 circa 17.45 having made prior arrangements with Ger Reid (Ardnacrusha Lock-keeper). Unfortunately the barriers, which are controlled from Ardnacrusha, could not be raised and consequently we could not proceed until someone was despatched to fix the problem.
